Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Bailey W. Pollock, PA-C examines, diagnoses, and treats patients at Franks Dermatology. Under the guidance of Dr. Franks, she helps patients find tailored regimens to take care of their skin needs.
Through her service to others on mission trips and in clinical patient care, Bailey has honed her skills as an empathetic, attentive, and confident provider. Bailey is a member of The Society of Dermatology Physician’s Assistants and The Arkansas Academy for Physician Assistants. She is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, where she serves on the Legislative Affairs Committee. In 2023, Bailey was named a “Woman to Watch” by Little Rock Soirée magazine.
Bailey became interested in the medical field after struggling with acne and psoriasis. A Fort Smith native, she is a recipient of a scholarship from the Degen Foundation, an organization that aims to improve the healthcare and education needs of the River Valley region by providing healthcare grants and education funds to medical scholars in the area.
Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where she was a Dean’s List scholar and received a Center for Community Engagement Award from its Volunteer Action Center. Bailey also served as Vice President of the Pre-Physician Assistant Club and Secretary of the Mental Health Awareness Organization during her time at the university.
After working as a medical assistant at Franks Dermatology in 2020, Bailey graduated with Honors from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. There, she received an award for Superior Academic Achievement.
Bailey’s volunteer work includes providing after-school care at Life Source International, a community-focused non-profit organization in Fayetteville. She is also a supporter of the House of Hope Rescue Mission, a day center for the needy in Springdale. Bailey is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).
